This article includes instructions on how to apply as well as details on the Bergvliet High School application forms, both online and paper-based for admission in 2023/2024. It also includes links to download the Bergvliet High School Application form and submit an online application.

Prospective students for grades 8 to 12 who meet the required qualifications are encouraged to apply.
GUIDELINES FOR BERGVLIET HIGH SCHOOL ADMISSION
For yearly programs, students must pre-register at the end of the current academic session for the next one (i.e. the following academic year). Admission registration fees must be paid in full in order to submit the admission form. For admission purposes, certain documents are required for your application to be successful. All of them will be listed below.
Grade 8 Procedure for Applying for Bergvliet High School Admission
STEP 1: Attend our Open Day
- All admission processes and deadlines will be explained at the Open Day
STEP 2: Apply On-Line at wcedonline.westerncape.gov.za/admissions
What to do:
- Apply to at least 3 schools (Including the ones closest to your home)
- Indicate your order of preference on the system
- Parents | Guardians MUST upload the following supporting documents:
- The latest official school Report Card of the learner
- Learner’s ID OR Birth certificate OR passport of the learner;
- For Foreign learners:
- A study permit; OR
- Proof of application for a study permit or a police affidavit
- Proof of Residence
- Rates account OR Lease agreement OR An affidavit confirming residence;
STEP 3: PRINT all the above documentation, together with the completed online form
DELIVER all the above documentation to the school front office. You may bring your printed documentation to the school between 08:00 and 15:00 daily as soon as you have registered online. You will be issued with an official school admissions receipt.
Grade 9-11 Procedure for Applying for Bergvliet High School Admission
STEP 1: Apply On-Line at wcedonline.westerncape.gov.za/admissions
If you can only apply after the closing date, then you must contact the School Registrar on [email protected]
What to do:
- Apply to at least 3 schools (Including the ones closest to your home)
- Indicate your order of preference on the system
- Parents | Guardians MUST upload the following supporting documents:
- The latest official school Report Card of the learner
- Learner’s ID OR Birth certificate OR passport of the learner;
- For Foreign learners:
- A study permit; OR

ATTACHING SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS FOR BERGVLIET HIGH SCHOOL ADMISSION
The relevant documents may be uploaded online OR attached to the application form. Applicants must send certified copies of all required documents to all of the schools they applied to if they are submitted in hard copy. If you have already uploaded your documents to the system, you are not need to send them to the school. If you can’t upload a document on the system, then only send it to the school.
BERGVLIET HIGH SCHOOL APPLICATION FEE
In the application form, the application fee is specified. Ensure you complete your application accurately and correctly.
You will need to reapply during the following academic year if your Bergvliet High School application for admission to study is not complete.
BERGVLIET HIGH SCHOOL APPLICATION REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS MUST ACCOMPANY THE APPLICATION FORM:
- A copy of the pupil’s latest school report
- A copy of the pupil’s birth certificate
- Proof of residence (Municipal rates account or levies account.)
- Proof of payment of the application fee to be emailed to the official email address of the school or submitted at the point of application at the school.
- Application must be signed by both parents/guardians
