It is in your best interest to apply before the deadline as space is limited per course.

Step 1: Gather Necessary Documents

Ensure that you have the required documents ready in electronic PDF format:

Certified copy of your ID
Certified copy of your Matric Certificate or equivalent
Post Matric Certificates (If Applicable)
CV (If applicable)

Step 2: Start Online Submission

Complete the NCHE online application form. You will be asked to complete the following information about yourself:

Biographical
Academic
Financial
Information required by the NCHE

Step 3: Pay Application Fee

The application fee needs to be paid before completing the application. Please attach your proof of payment as part of your application.

Why do we ask for Proof of Payment as part of your application submission?

Your application will only be processed after payment has been received. Thus, by requesting proof of payment(POP) with your application submission. our administration staff reduces many follow ups for POPs. Consequently, resulting in an increase in efficiency by focusing on answering queries and processing applications.

Step 4: Application Review by UNIMA

The University of Malawi will review your application as soon as possible and successful payment of application fee.

You will be notified via email once a decision has been made on your application. Students will be contacted if further interviews are necessary. Acceptance letters and registration forms will be sent to successful applicants .

UPLOAD SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION

Everyone applying for a new qualification must submit the required documents (all first-time applicants and University of Malawi (UNIMA) students starting a new qualification). The due date for uploading the required documents is the closing date for applications. No documents submitted after the closing date for applications will be accepted.

University of Malawi (UNIMA) does not provide scanners or electronic devices. Please ensure that your documents are scanned and uploaded to an electronic device before starting the application process.
