This is information containing the University of Livingstonia (UNILIA) Tuition & Fees Structure: 2022/2023. Authority of the institution has released the amount payable as school fees for certificate & diploma programs for the new academic session.

This is to inform all the prospective candidates offered provisional admission or probably seeking admission into the University of Livingstonia (UNILIA) for 2022/2023 academic session that the management of the institution has released the amount they are required to pay as acceptance fee. We specifically publish this information here today, for all people who need to know the current school fees of the University of Livingstonia (UNILIA). Please note that if you have applied for admission to the University of Livingstonia (UNILIA) or if you are already a student, it is advised that you know the current tuition fees for all students, and this knowledge will help you, avoiding making mistakes that will cost you your admission.

UNIVERSITY OF LIVINGSTONIA (UNILIA) FEES STRUCTURE FOR ALL PROGRAMMES

The fee structures are as follows:

  1. For the bachelor’s degrees: Local students (residential) – MK585, 000
  2. Local students (non-residential) – MK505, 000
  3. International students (residential) – US$1, 135, 00
  4.     International Students (non-residential) – US$695
  5. For University Certificate in Education –  MK300, 000
  6. Weekend and Evening classes – MK450, 000. Weekend and Evening programmes are non-residential.
  7. National Postgraduate students shall pay MK1, 500,000 per year by coursework, and MK1, 300,000 by research (Theology only). SADC students shall pay $2,400 and International students will pay $2,600 by Course work and US$2,500 by research.

 Note:

  1. Students shall be expected to pay directly to outsourced service providers for their food. The collection and determination of catering fees is solely in the hands of the outsourced service providers.
  2. The University does not use an agent in recruitment of students and payment of fees (i.e. does not use Airtel Money, Mpamba, Mukuru and Hello Paisa).
  3. Students for Public Health should have a registration fee of MK10, 000 for the Medical Council of Malawi paid once in the First Semester in Year 1 for the entire academic cycle.
  4. Admitted candidates shall be required to respect and abide by the Christian values as practiced by the CCAP Synod of Livingstonia.
  5. Applicants should pay a non-refundable application fee of MK10,000 for undergraduates programmes and MK15,000 for postgraduate programmes to the bank account below:

METHOD OF PAYMENT OF FEES PER SEMESTER

  1. All applicants should provide proof of capability to pay the required fees.
  2. Upon admission into the programmes, students should pay half of the required fees per semester in order to be registered. The fee balance should be paid in at least two instalments.
  3. Students are required to deposit fees to the bank and produce the deposit slip during registration.
  4. The University follows a policy of “No Fees, No admission”.
  5. The Council of the UNILIA reserves the right to amend all fees during the course of the academic year.
